My Travel Itinerary: For anyone even remotely interested, I am a grad student in geography, British but living in the US. Personal interests include travelling(duh) and scuba diving. Have not really travelled at length before this trip, but had a few little trips to various places including:
China, Japan, Peru, Bali, Borneo, Tahiti, France, Amsterdam, UK and US includign Hawaii, several Caribbean islands and everywhere else in my head.
Itinerary is for upcoming long awaited trip. Hopefully along the way I can make some contacts for doctoral research.

Fly into Bangkok
Bangkok to Sukkothai, then onto Chiang Mai, back to Bangkok by nighttrain
Bus/pick up truck from Bangkok to Siam Reap
Train from Bangkok to Chumphon- boat to Koh Tao.
Bus from Chumphon to Phuket- area stuff, Krabi etc.
Phuket to Kualar Lumpur, then flight to Bali
Southern Bali to Tulamben/Ubud/Lovina, back to Denpasar
Bus to Yogyakarta in Java, then onto Semarang to fly back to KL
KL to Kuala Terengganu, then onto Palau Redang
From KT down coast to Mersing, onto Palau Tioman
Mersing to Singapore, then back to Bangkok and home
